Someone's 5!

The birthday girl!

My oldest turned 5 yesterday, so I'd like to take the opportunity to remember and share some of her thoughts on her birthday:

While tucking her into bed: "Mom, you know, being 5 feels different."

While I'm pretending to be a monster and crawling after her brother, Kassia climbs onto my back for a ride and says: "Mom, do you feel a 5-year-old on your back?"

"Now that I'm 5, I can [insert adult activity here]!"

"I can't wait 'till I'm 10!"
